Busy week in the Pullan house! We had our mid-pregnancy ultrasound this week. The first thing the ultrasound technician told us was the gender, and if you watch our video you can see what the gender is! From there we got to see all of the baby’s bones and face and how it is developing! After the ultrasound, we went to the doctor’s appointment where they told us it was a “perfect ultrasound!” We were so relieved that nothing was going wrong and we have a very healthy baby boy who was 11 oz and sitting in the 60th percentile for growth! Jessica told him he could stay in the 60th percentile until he entered the world, no sense in making it worse for mom.
The other big event that happened was the painting of the nursery! (Well Jessica watched while Austin painted) It looks terrific, and we’ve been told the mountains are the biggest ones in Fargo. We wanted to make sure this little boy knew that the whole country wasn’t as flat as it is here in the Midwest.
Jess is starting to show and he dad giggles every time he sees her. I think he is ready for his grandson as he has begun sending all sorts of little kid soccer videos. Jess’ mom resisted for quite some time but has started buying stuff for this little boy and touches Jess’ stomach every day at work, she’s ready to be a grandma.
Austin’s family is so happy that the Pullan name will continue with this new generation! They wish they were closer to feel this baby start to grow but he will be here before they know it! Austin's mom is itching to start spoiling the baby!
